Installation Instructions
1984-1995 XJ (Cherokee)
Rear Tube Bumper
Hardware: (2) Left and right mounting plates P/N: 11570.80
(4) Hex head mounting bracket bolts
(8) Flat Washers
(4) Lock Washers
NOTE!
To obtain correct installation, we recommend that you follow the basic steps covered
in these instructions. Please take care when assembling this product to protect the
finish and to maintain a quality look to your new investment. If able have a second
person help with the installation.
Step (1): A 15mm deep socket will be needed to
remove the (8) factory mounting bolts from the
XJ body ( 4 for each side). There is no need
to remove the rear bumper cover.
Do Not Discard These Bolts. They Are To Be
Reused.
Step (2): Install supplied tube bumper mounting brackets
to the left and right side of the unitized frame.
Align mounting brackets using supplied template.
