CAUTION! Exhaust system must be cooled down before installation may begin.
Protective eyewear must be used.
Due to rust and corrosion a thread penetrant will need to be applied to all bolts.
JEEP WRANGLER (JK) 2-DOOR OR 4 DOOR 17606.75
Step 1. Loosen the clamp that holds the muffler to the front exhaust pipe.
This clamp is located just behind the muffler near the rear axle.
Step 2. Remove the muffler from the (2) rubber isolator mounts. A spray
lubricant may be need.
Step 3. Install the new exhaust by first attaching the muffler to the rubber
idolator hangers.
