INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
SIDE BAR PART # 81593.32
1999 - 2004 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE 2/4WD
NOTE: Please read this information before installing. Check components received with components listed above. NO DRILLING IS
REQUIRED for installation of these side bars. To obtain correct installation we recommend you to follow these step by step
installation instructions carefully. Please take care when installing this product to protect the finish and your investment.
Step One: Locate hardware kit. Check contents of hardware kit with the hardware listed below.

1 front mounting bracket, right side
1 rear mounting bracket, left side
1 rear mounting bracket, right side
4 backing bracket
8 M12 x 25mm Hex Bolts
4 M12 x 50mm Hex Bolts
12 M12 Flat washers
12 M12 Lock washers
Step Two: Determine which bracket is the left front as per Fig.1 and orient it correctly on the vehicle. Loosely install it with two M12 x
25mm bolts, flat washers, and lock washers. Do not fully tighten hardware at this time.
Step Three: Determine which bracket is the left rear as per Fig.2 and orient it correctly on the vehicle. Loosely install it with two M12 x
25mm bolts, flat washers, and lock washers. Do not fully tighten hardware at this time.
Step Four: Determine which side bar is the left side and loosely mount it to the brackets using the M12 x 50mm bolts, flat washers, and
lock washers.
Step Five: After making sure the sidebar is level and square to the body tighten all the hardware.
Step Six: Repeat steps one thru five for the opposite side of the vehicle.
