• Be sure your cable / extension cable is in good condition. Always have a

damaged cable / extension cable replaced at an authorised service centre

before using it. Never pull the cable to disconnect it from the power socket.

Battery Charger Safety

• Do not allow any metal items to come into contact with the battery terminals,

short circuits can start fires and cause explosions.

• Do not allow positive and negative lead clamps to touch. Live clamps touching

• Always disconnect power supply before making, or breaking, battery terminal

connections.

• Always handle battery terminal connectors at arms length.
• Always ensure that there is at least 600mm of clear space around the charger,

to allow adequate ventilation.

not charge batteries near to any kind of ignition, or heat, source. Do not smoke.

Ensure that batteries are well ventilated.

• If you smell gas at any time during battery charging DO NOT disconnect clamps.

Open windows or doors to allow maximum ventilation. When gas has cleared,
