Unpacking Your Tool

• Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all

its features and functions

• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If

any parts are missing or damaged, have such parts replaced before
attempting to use this tool

Assembling your tile cutter

1. Attach the Feet (16) by pushing into fixing holes at each corner of the

base of the Main Body (1)

2. Attach Guard Support Bracket (3) to the Main Body (1), using the Guard

Support Retaining Screws (4). (See Fig B)

3. Fit the Disc Assembly

WARNING: Wear safety gloves at all times when handling the Cutting
Disc (8)

a) Thread the Spacer (6) over the Spindle (7) as shown in Fig C
b) Thread the Cutting Disc (8) over the Spindle (7) onto the central
raised profile on the Spacer (6)
c) Ensure the cutting disc rotates in the same direction as the arrow
printed on the disc
d) Thread the Large Washer (9) over the Spindle (7); ensure the flat
side is facing towards the disc
e) Thread the Nut (10) onto the Spindle (7) and tighten so that the disc
is held firmly in place. Use the Nut Spanner (11) and Spindle Spanner
(12) as shown in Fig. D, to tighten the Nut (10), but do not overtighten.
(The rotation of the disc and cutting action will further tighten the nut
over time, and you will eventually need to be able to loosen it in order
to replace the disc)

4. Attach the Disc Cover (14) using the small Disc Cover Screws and

Washers (15)
a) The disc cover flanges allow for adjustment of fixing position
b) When fixed in place, ensure that no part of the disc cover touches

the edge of the cutting disc, and that the disc rotates freely

5. Attach the Table (17)

a) Thread table over the Guard Support Bracket (3) and the edge of the

Cutting Disc (8) and onto the locating lugs (see Fig A & E)

b) Place Washers (21) onto the threads of the Adjustment Knobs (20)

and screw into the locating holes to fasten the table

6. Attach the Guard (2)

a) Place the fixing point of the guard (see Fig A) over the Guard Support

Bracket (3) so that the fixing holes are aligned

b) Insert the thread of the Guard Adjustment Knob (5) and screw

clockwise through the fixing holes to fasten

7. Attach the Fence (19)

a) Place the Fence (19) onto the Table (17), parallel to the Cutting Disc

(8), so that the fixing flanges hang over either end of the table (17)

b) One at a time, fit the Fixing/Adjustment Knobs (20) to fasten the

fence (see Fig F). To do this place the Washer (21) onto the thread of
the Adjustment Knob (20). Then hold the Fixing Plate (22) in place on
the inside of the fence fixing flange, ensuring that the curved edge
is at the top, facing inwards, so that the flat side of the fixing plate is
against the fixing flange. Align the fixing holes and inser the thread
of the Adjustment Knob (20). Screw clockwise to fasten.

8. Position Water Tray (13)

a) With the Table (17) securely fixed to the Main Body (1), lift the unit to

position the Water Tray (13) so that it is under the Disc Cover (14),
as shown in Fig A.
