Your XE-12C 1:2 Component DA
Congratulations on purchasing your XE-12C, which is intended for component video signal
distribution and video duplication studios. Your XE-12C 1:2 Component Distributor takes a
component video input signal and then distributes it to two identical component video output
signals.
The XE-12C has a high bandwidth (350MHz) and is HDTV compatible. It uses an
energy-saving 5V DC power adapter that’s provided free!
Connecting the XE-12C 1:2 Component DA
To setup your XE-12C, connect:
1. A component video source (for example, a DVD player) to the Y, C
B /P B , and C R /P R
INPUT RCA connectors.
2. The two sets of OUTPUT (Y, C
B
/P
B
, and C
R
/P
R
) RCA connectors to up to two
component video acceptors (for example, to two displays).
3. The 5V DC power adapter to the power socket and connect the adapter to the mains
electricity.
Note:
Use good quality connection cables to avoid interference, deterioration in signal quality due to poor matching, and elevated noise
levels (often associated with low quality cables) and position your product away from moisture, excessive sunlight and dust.
Caution – No operator-serviceable parts inside unit.
Warning – Use only the XE input power wall adapter that is provided with this unit.
Warning – Disconnect power and unplug unit from wall before installing or removing device or servicing unit.
