Step 1

How to set your short cycle timing schedule
• Plug your Apollo 15 into a 120 Volt power source
• Click the knob and you’re in the day ‘ON TIME’ mode
• Click the knob again, and you’re in the night ‘ON TIME’ mode
• Click the knob a third time, and you’re in the day ‘OFF TIME’

mode

• Finally, click the knob a fourth , and the Apollo 15 is in the night

‘OFF TIME’ mode

• When the day ‘ON TIME’ LED is steady lit (not blinking), the

display shows the day ‘ON TIME’ ranging from 5 seconds to 60
minutes (shown on the left side scale)

• When the night ‘ON TIME’ LED is steady lit

(not blinking) the display shows the night
‘ON TIME’ ranging from 5 seconds to 60
minutes (shown on the left side scale)

• When the day ‘OFF TIME’ LED is steady

lit (not blinking) the display shows the day
‘OFF TIME’ ranging from 1 minute to 12
hours (shown on the right side scale)

• When the night ‘OFF TIME’ LED is steady

lit (not blinking) the display shows the night
‘OFF TIME’ ranging from 1 minute to 12
hours (shown on the right side scale)

EXAMPLES AND TIPS

Step 2

Running your equipment
• Plug your gear (fan, pump, etc.) into the 120 Volt power

receptacle on the front of your timer.

• Your Apollo 15 timer is now ready for operation.
• Flashing indicator and Apollo 15 countdown:

a. A flashing indicator shows you which time is currently
running.

b. The time left in the cycle is shown of the display while
the Apollo 15 is in operation. (shown on the right side scale)

Example 1

Day ‘ON TIME’ LED is flashing. Display LED 15 is lit (Left side
of scale)
• The LED display shows 15 seconds remaining in schedule
• Daytime conditions are detected and the equipment is running
• ‘ON TIME” will run 15 more seconds before turning off

Example 1

Night ‘OFF TIME’ LED is flashing. Display LED 30 & 40 is lit
(Right side of scale)
• The LED display shows 35 minutes remaining in schedule
• Nighttime conditions are detected and the equipment is NOT

running

• ‘OFF TIME” will run 35 minutes before activating your equipment

again.

LED Display

• Use left side scale for ‘ON TIME’ = 5 seconds to 60 minutes
• Use right side scale for ‘OFF TIME’ = 1 minute to 12 hours

Day & Night functions

• The photocell detects a ‘DAY’ condition when it senses light for a

minimum of 8 seconds

• The photocell detects a ‘NIGHT’ condition when it senses dark-

ness for a minimum of 8 seconds

Disabling the DAY or NIGHT feature:

• In order to disable the DAY or NIGHT feature, set the cor-

responding ‘ON TIME’ to zero (0) – then turn knob counter
clockwise until LED’s are off when setting day ‘ON TIME’
or night ‘ON TIME’

Bottom LED is flashing:

• The bottom LED will flash at the end of each cycle. The

LED will flash for two (2) seconds at the end of an ‘ON
TIME’, and flash for thirty (30) seconds at the end of an
‘OFF TIME’
