Congratulations on your purchase of the WS-Bag! Since positive word of mouth is
the best way to grow our business, we want your install to go as smoothly as it was
designed to. If you have any questions or concerns, we are here to help. Email us at
[email protected], or call us during regular business hours (EST) at 705-719-
6361. If you lack the ability to safely and properly install this item, then please have
the bag installed by your dealer.

IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: When mounted, MAKE SURE the bag does not
obscure your view of the road or surroundings. Install the bag so it will not shift or
move while riding with or without anything in the bag. Make sure the mounted bag
will not contact any controls or moving parts of your bike. Before riding, secure any
cargo inside the bag, taking special care with eyeglasses. Make sure all flaps/zippers
etc are in the closed position. Your Hogtunes WS-BAG is designed to slip in be-
tween the windshield and the inner dash of your bikes fairing. Care must be taken
when mounting the bag so it stays firmly secured to your bike!

Preparing the bag for install.

On the underside of the bag, there is a “X” grommet to allow a USB cable to pass
into the bag and an audio cable as per Fig 1.4 below. Skip to next page if not using.

From inside the zippered pouch, push the standard USB cable through as shown in
Fig 1.1 above. Pull all the slack through leaving enough slack for your USB powered
device as shown in Fig 1.2 above.

Make a “U” as shown in Fig 1.3. This allows your USB to go around the top lip of
your fairing when installing the bag. On the far right of the bag is a 2nd “X” grom-
met that allows Hogtunes audio cable to pass out of the bag to the “aux in” on the
radio. With USB power, and the audio out to the aux in, the zipper pouch is the
ideal place to have your audio device for long rides!

Step#1: Locate the 3 screws highlighted by white arrows in the image below.
These are the screws that “clamp” the windshield between the bikes inner and
outer fairing. In most cases, the 3 screws will only need to be loosened before
moving to Step #2, but may need to be removed depending on the bike.

Step#2: Slide the lower, backing portion of the windshield bag down between
the inner dash and the windshield. Note: If using the USB cable option, you may
need to loosen all 7 fairing screws to allow the outer fairing to pull back far
enough to get the “U” around the top lip of the inner fairing as shown in Fig 1.3.
Once the bag is in place, take any slack out of the loop.

Step#3: Align the center hole in the outer fairing, and windshield molding (if
present) with the center “slot” in the windshield bag and the center threaded
insert of the inner fairing.

Step#4: Loosely re install the 3 screws. Check the fit and alignment of the
windshield and the bag before tightening the screws securely.

Step#5: Make sure that none of the parts of the bag will touch or interfere with
anything that can impair the operation of the bike! It is your responsibility to
make sure the installation of the bag does not create an unsafe, or illegal situa-
tion.

Note: After 50 miles of riding (80km), recheck the mounting of the bag to
make sure it is still securely mounted to the fairing.
