Connector

Description

HDMI out connector

Used to deliver uncompressed high-definition video and multichannel digital
audio signals through a single cable. This HDMI out connector can attach a high
performance monitor, a direct drive monitor, or other audio or video devices that
use an HDMI out connector.

Ethernet connector

Used to attach an Ethernet cable for a local area network (LAN).
Note: To operate the computer within FCC Class B limits, use a Category 5 Ethernet
cable.

USB connector

Used to attach a device that requires a USB connector, such as a USB keyboard, a
USB mouse, a USB scanner, or a USB printer. If you have more than six USB
devices, you can purchase a USB hub, which you can use to connect additional
USB devices.

VGA in connector

Used to attach your computer to a VGA monitor connector on a second computer
so that you can use your computer in monitor mode.

Attention: Never block or cover the ventilation slots, especially the ventilation slots beneath the computer
handle. Blocking the ventilation slots will cause the computer to overheat.

Adjusting the computer stand

Your computer comes with a computer stand that you can use to adjust the computer to your comfortable
position. Pull the stand open and adjust the position of the computer at an angle between 10° to 40°
as shown in the following illustration.

CAUTION:
Make sure that the angle is at least 10° from the vertical; otherwise, the computer might be unstable
and fall over.
