3. Remove the new adapter card from its static-protective package.
4. Install the new adapter card into the same adapter card slot.
5. Ensure the adapter card is fully seated into the adapter card slot.
6. At the rear of the computer, pivot the adapter card latch to the closed position
to secure the adapter card.
7. Go to Chapter 4, “Completing the parts replacement,” on page 37.
