Fiery Bridge Users can view/manage all personal jobs on the
Fiery from Fiery Bridge including:
• Drag and drop documents between the Fiery
mailbox and the client desktop.
• Get notification of new documents in the
user’s Fiery mailbox.
• Integrate scanned documents into the user’s
scan to desktop application.
• Fiery’s mailbox is exposed widely to the
office users.
• Integrates Fiery MFP functionality directly
into the office user’s workflows.
• Exposure to an efficient Fiery office
workflow enhances all MFPs with Fiery
technology, creating an efficient “hub &
spoke” capability for document distribution
and management.
• Fiery Bridge can automatically launch
when Windows starts and to auto-
login based on the login information
saved. This creates and automated
workflow for the user and make
documents stored on the Fiery readily
available.
• Simple operation makes MFP scanning
a powerful tool where users can scan
a job into the user’s mailbox on the
Fiery, and once the job is scanned, the
user gets a notification from the Fiery
Bridge tool tray that a new job is
available. The user can then see the
job in the Fiery Bridge mailbox
directory from their desktop.
• Users can access Fiery documents
directly from Windows Explorer or
from within any application that can
access the Windows Explorer directory
structure. By using the same Windows
applications and workflow, users
require little instruction.
Fiery WebTools Fiery WebTools is a browser-based tool
hosted on Fiery which delivers the following
functionality:
• Home - provides basic status and
capabilities of Fiery.
• Downloads - allows users to install client
tools.
• MyDocs – user-authenticated access to
mailbox jobs and the ability to download print
jobs to Fiery.
• Configure - allows the administrator to
configure Fiery.
• User and Groups - user authentication
management tool.
• Backup and Restore settings.
Note: Fiery WebTools 3 now supports Microsoft
Windows 32- & 64-bit technology in Windows
XP, Windows 2003 and Vista.
• Fiery WebTools is one of several utilities for
administrators and operators. The tools
empower these users with complete and
flexible control, from complex production
runs to individual print jobs.
• Enhanced interface improves end user
experience by adding consistency with
the design of the rest of the
applications in Fiery.
• Fast WebTools design invites users to
make WebTools indispensable in day-
to-day operations.
