– If the connection of this machine
cannot be recognized, or when
specifying manually:
To specify a unit manually, select
[Specify the Printer/MFP Except
for the Above (IP Address, Host
Name...)] and click the [Refer
to...].
– [Manual Selection] window ap-
pears.
– Select either [Local Port], [Printer
Path], [IPv4, IPv6 Address/IP
Host Name] or [URL] and enter
information as required. Then
click the [OK].
– In Windows 7, a shared printer
cannot be selected from the in-
staller. To configure the shared
printer, install the shared printer
in [Add a printer] in the [Devices
and Printers] window.
– [Select Printers/MFPs to Install]
window appears again. Click the [Next].
– [Confirm Installation Settings] window is appears.

Installation setting condition is dis-
played. Check the setting and click
[Install].
– The printer driver is installed and
the [Finish Installing Drivers] win-
dow appears.
– If the [Windows Logo Testing],
[Digital Signature] or [Hardware
Installation] dialog box appears,
click the [Continue] or [Install this driver software anyway].

Click [Finish].
Installation is completed.
