Connect the computer and the printer with a USB cable or network cable,
and turn on the power of the printer.

Confirm that the printer driver is installed in the computer with a USB con-
nection or network connection.

Print the configuration page from the printer control panel to check the
current firmware version.

Download the firmware updater from the Web site, and then decompress
it in any folder.

Double-click the firmware updater (exe format).

If the User Account Control window appears when installing on
Windows 7/Vista/Server 2008, click Allow button or Continue but-
ton.

The Software End User License Agreement is displayed. Select “I accept
the terms of the licence agreement.”, and then click [OK] button.
