3. 6. 1 Flash of Ready Indicator

The Ready Indicator may suddenly starts flashing during normal use. The KIP Color 80 does not
make any print when it is lighting even if many jobs are waiting to be printed out. This occurs when
the media type is changed from one to another, because it requires changing the temperature of
Fuser region. The KIP Color 80 will restart printing automatically when the Ready Indicator stops
flashing. (You have to do nothing especially.)

NOTE

The case may occur in the following situations.

• When the installation room is extremely cold

• When the input AC power is lower than the requirement
• For many prints on a thick printing media as it robs more fever from the Fuser.

Each media type has its own best temperature for image fusing. Switching of media type
requires readjustment of the temperature of Fuser region to newly selected media type. The
Ready Indicator flashes when the temperature is being changed, and printing will not be
available until readjustment of temperature is completed.
