Our design
philosophy
The combination of everyday functionality,
timeless design, environmental concern and
clean lines is the principal hallmark of ASKO’s
design. The fundamental idea is that carefully
designed products should raise your quality of
life.
SCANDINAVIAN DESIGN
To distinguish ourselves in a market of cluttered and
complex designs, we aim for a soft, humanistic minimalism
based on the principle of quiet being the new loud. The key
elements of Scandinavian design – understated elegance,
high quality craftsmanship and natural materials – are
reflected in ASKO’s design elements. Much emphasis is also
placed on function. We strive to make life easier by offering
truly user-friendly, trouble-free, durable products that last
for many years.
DESIGN AWARDS
ASKO has gained global recognition for design, innovation,
low energy consumption and product development. For
example, we have been awarded the prestigious I.D. Design
Award and we have also received the ADEX design award
on numerous occasions. We are proud to be a winner of
the iF Design Product Design Award, as well as the
prestigious Red Dot award.
