The following changes have been made since the last edition of the IMS 4452

Instruction Manual. Please keep this addendum together with the manual.

Connect External Devices

VIDEO OUT jack (rear of the device)
If you have videos stored on your iPod, iPhone, or iPad, you can play them also via this

device.
1. Connect the video jack of your playback device via cinch cable (RCA) to the VIDEO OUT

jack on the rear of the device.

2. Turn on your playback device and select the correspond-ing input. Refer to the opera-

tion instructions for your playback device.

3. Plug an iPod/iPhone or iPad onto the docking port.

4. Select the iPod mode using the MODE button (3). The pilot lamp (5 on the unit) lights

up blue.

Play back videos from an iPad

5. Select the video file which you want to play. Begin playback using the II button (10).

The video image is shown again on the iPad display.

6. Now press the V-OUT ON/OFF button (5) to stop playback and to switch on the video

output on the back of the unit.

7. Again select the video file which you want to play and start playback by pressing the

II button. The video image is shown on the connected playback device. The sound

comes from the unit speakers.

Play back videos from an iPhone/iPod Touch

5. Select the video file which you want to play. Start playback using the OK button (8). The

video image is played back on the display of the iPhone or iPod Touch.

6. Now press the V-OUT ON/OFF button (5) to stop playback and to switch on the video

output on the back of the unit.

7. Again select the video file which you want to play and start playback using the OK but-

ton. The video image is shown on the connected playback device. The sound comes out

of the unit speakers.

Play back videos from an iPod Nano/iPod Classic or iPod Video

5. Select the video file which you want to play back. Start playback using the OK button (8).

The video image is shown on the iPod Nano, iPod Classic or iPod Video display.

6. Press the MENU button to end current playback.

7. Now press the V-OUT ON/OFF button (5) to switch on the video output on the back of

the unit.

8. Again select the video file which you want to play back and start playback using the OK

button. The video image is shown on the connected playback device. The sound comes

from the unit speakers.
