Memory Info.

The recordable capacity remaining and overall

capacity of the recording media can be seen

from the menu display.

• When no microSD card is inserted only

information for the built-in memory will

seen.

• The domain area which uses the

administrative files which the recorder

uses is included in the remaining capacity

for the recording media. For microSD

cards in particular, in addition to this

administrative domain the administrative

domain area for the microSD card is added

in as well. Owing to this, the remaining

capacity will be displayed as less than the

card’s specified capacity, yet this is not

abnormal.

Menu setting method

Format

Refer to “Formatting the recorder

[Format]” (☞ P.97).

System Info.

You can check the recorder’s information on

the menu display. [Model] (Model Name),

[Version] (System version) and [S

erial No.]

(Serial Number) appears on the display.

Book Menu

You can change the skip space settings for

DAISY contents stored in the [DAISY] folder

or change the character code and language

preferences for text files stored in the [TEXT]

folder.

Skip Mode

DAISY contents are divided in units of

chapters, sections, paragraphs, pages, etc.

It is possible to quickly move from one

location to another. In addition to chapters,

sections, paragraphs, and pages, movable

units also include groups, phrases, and

bookmarks. It is possible to specify the

desired skip mode to meet the playback

method of contents file.

From the [Home] menu display

select [Audiobooks], and then

press the `OK or 9 button.

In the Book list display, press the

F (MENU) button.

Press the + or − button to select

[Book Menu], and then press the

OK or 9 button.

Press the + or − button to select

[Skip Mode], and then press the

OK or 9 button.

Select [Section], [Group], [Page],

[Phrase] or [Bookmark].

When [Section] is selected:
