TROUBLESHOOTING

OPERATING PROBLEMS

The camera does not work.

The power is OFF.

[

Open the lens barrier to turn on the power. (P. 31)

The batteries are loaded incorrectly.

[

Reload the batteries correctly. (P. 25)

The batteries are exhausted.

[

Replace the batteries with new ones. (P. 25)

The batteries are temporarily unable to function.

[

Keep the batteries warm while using the camera.

The camera is set to the stand-by mode.

[

Close and open the lens barrier. (P. 31)

The camera is connected to a personal computer.

[

The camera does not work when connected to a computer. (P. 99)

No picture is taken when the Shutter release button is pressed.

The flash has not finished charging or the previous picture is being
written into the card.

[

Remove your finger from the Shutter release button and wait until
the Green lamp stops blinking. (P. 40/49)

There is no card in the camera or there is a problem with the card.

The card is full.

[

Replace the card, delete unwanted pictures or transfer the data to

a computer and delete all of the pictures. (P. 28/76/82/97)

The batteries ran out.

[

Replace the batteries with new ones. (P. 25)

The battery power is low.

Replace the batteries with new ones. (Do not open the Battery

compartment cover when the Card access lamp is blinking.) (P. 25)

A write-protect adhesive seal is placed on the card or there is no card
in the camera.

Insert a new card in the camera. (P. 28)

The camera is in the Display mode.
