When the speakers are installed on the display, do not move the
unit by lifting up the speakers.

The display could fall and cause injury.

To ensure safety, tighten bolts and screws securely.

Failure to do so could cause the Plasma Display to tip over,

resulting in injury.

Examples of Symbols

This symbol is used to mark cautions (and warnings)

containing instructions which must be followed.

This symbol is used to mark items containing instructions

about actions which are prohibited (i.e., which must never be
performed).

WARNING

Do not set on shaky stands, tilted surfaces or other unstable places.

Doing so could cause the Plasma Display to tip over or fall,
resulting in injury.

Moreover, Do not install a Plasma Display into a vehicle.

Never place the speakers or monitor in a location subjected to

direct sunlight or excessively high temperatures, as doing so
might result in fires occurring.

Avoid using over long periods of time when significant levels of

sound distortion occur, as doing so might cause the speakers to
heat up excessively and this could in turn result in fire.

Never sit on or hang from the product. Particular care should be

taken around children, as doing so might result in the product
toppling over and this could in turn result in damage to the
product or bodily injury.

Do not install the Plasma Display in humid or dusty places

or places exposed to soot or vapor (such as in kitchens, near
humidifiers, etc.). Doing so could lead to fire.

Do not let any water get into or onto the speaker. Doing so

could result in fire or electric shock. Also, do not use the speakers
outdoors. Doing so could result in fire or electric shock.

Do not place heavy objects on the connection cords or let the

cords run under the display. The cords could be damaged,
leading to fire or electric shock.

Do not insert or drop metal objects, easily inflammable objects,

etc., into the openings in the speaker. Doing so could result in
fire or electric shock. Homes or places with small children present
should take particular care.

Never attach the speakers to any devices other than the specified

Plasma Displays, as doing so might result in fire or damage to the
product.

Various symbols are used in this Operating Instructions for the safe and proper

use of the product as well as preventing any injury or damage to persons or

property. These symbols and their meanings are described below. Please have

a good understanding of these matters before reading the main text of the

manual.

Mounting the speakers on the display

② Screw the M8 screws loosely into the screw holes

located at the top of the Plasma Display

(2 locations).

Screws (M8)

The speakers are designed specifically for the left
(L) and right (R) sides.

When mounting them on the

display, refer to the letters ("L" and "R") indicated on
the speakers' hooks.

① Remove the seals from the cushions and then attach

the cushions to the sides of the speakers in the
locations indicated in the diagram below.

This symbol is used to mark items containing instructions or

other content requiring the user to take certain actions.
