• Do not attempt to insert plugs for other headphones into the jack on the unit.

Only plugs specifically designed for this earphone-microphone set can be
used.

• Do not insert or remove the plug when power is ON.
• If the unit is brought near a radio, signals from the radio may cause audible

noise. In this event, remove the unit from the vicinity of the radio.

If you suspect a malfunction, perform the following checks, since a simple
operating error may be the cause of the problem. Perform the following checks,
and if the problem persists, consult your dealer or nearest Pioneer authorized
service centre. When visiting your Pioneer authorized service centre for repairs,
be sure to take both the earphones and main unit.

• If a hand is passed over the microphone (located on the

outer side of the earphone-microphone), a feedback
sound (“howling”) may be audible. In this case, remove
your hand from the region of the microphone, or lower
the volume.

• Always use both right and left earphone-microphones

together. Using only one side may result in audible
feedback sound (“howling”).

• Medium (M) tips have been factory installed on the

earphone shafts. If these do not match your ear canals,
switch to one of the other sizes provided (XS) , (S) or
(L).

• Earphone tips can be easily removed by pulling the tip

gently away from the earphone-microphone body.
- When installing tips, press the tips fully onto the

earphone-microphone shaft.
