For iPhone users
! This function is compatible with iPhone
and iPod touch.
! The device has iOS 5.0 or higher.
For smartphone users
! The device has Android OS 2.3 or later.
! The device supports Bluetooth SPP (Serial
Port Profile) and A2DP (Advanced Audio
Distribution Profile).
The device is connected to this unit via
Bluetooth.
! Compatibility with all Android devices is
not guaranteed.

Starting procedure for iPhone
users
1 Connect an iPhone to USB cable.
2 Select Wired in APP CONNECT MODE.
For details, refer to APP CONNECT MODE
(APP connect mode setting) on page 27.
3 Switch the source to App.
4 Start up the application on the iPhone
and initiate playback.
Starting procedure for
smartphone users
1 Connect your smartphone to this unit
using Bluetooth wireless technology. For
details, refer to Connection menu opera-
tion on page 16.
2 Select Bluetooth in
APP CONNECT MODE. For details, refer to
APP CONNECT MODE (APP connect mode
setting) on page 27.
3 Switch the source to App.
4 Start up the application on the smart-
phone and initiate playback.
