2 Tap [Rear Speaker].

Tapping [

Rear Speaker

] changes the settings

as follows:

Full (default)

When no subwoofer is connected to the

rear output, select “

Full

”.

Subwoofer

When a subwoofer is connected to the

rear output, select “

Subwoofer

”.

❐ Even if you change this setting, there will be

no output unless you turn the subwoofer
output on.

➲ For details, refer to Using the subwoofer

output on page 37.

❐ If you change this setting, subwoofer output

in the audio menu will return to the factory
settings.

Setting the RCA output

This product’s preout (RCA rear output or sub-
woofer output) can be used for a full-range
speaker (

Full

) or subwoofer (

Subwoofer

) con-

nection.
Initially, the product is set for a rear full-range
speaker connection (

Full

).

Preout

” can be set only when the source is

set to “

OFF

”.

[Preout].

Tapping [

Preout

] changes the settings as fol-

lows:

Subwoofer (default)

When a subwoofer is connected to the

RCA rear output, select “

Subwoofer

”.

Full

When no subwoofer is connected to the

RCA rear output, select “

Full

”.

❐ Even if you change this setting, there will be

no output unless you turn the subwoofer
output on.

❐ If you change this setting, subwoofer out-

put in the audio menu will return to the fac-
tory settings.

Setting the FM tuning step

Normally the FM tuning step employed by
seek tuning is 50 kHz. When “

AF

” (Alternative

Frequencies) or “

TA

” (Traffic Announcements)

is on, the tuning step automatically changes to
100 kHz. But you can set the tuning step to
50 kHz when “

AF

” or “

TA

” is on.

Initially, this function is set to “

100 kHz

”.

❐ “

FM Setup

” can be set only when the

source is set to “

OFF

”.

1 Display the “System” screen.

2 Tap

[FM

Setup].

Each time you tap [

FM Setup

] will switch the

FM tuning step between “

50 kHz

” and

100 kHz

” while “

AF

” or “

TA

” is on.

❐ The tuning step remains at “

50 kHz

” during

manual tuning.

RDS setting

Limiting stations to regional programming

When “

Alternative FREQ

” is used, the re-

gional function limits the selection of stations
to those broadcasting regional programmes.

❐ This function is effective only when the

radio source is set to FM tuner.
