Karaoke
Enjoying Karaoke
1. Press KARAOKE on the remote control.
The Karaoke setting screen will be displayed
on the TV screen.
Press KARAOKE to close the Karaoke
settings screen.
2. Turn the Karaoke Switch on.
Select [Karaoke Switch] d [On] using
cursor and press ENTER.
3. Adjust microphone volume.
Select [Microphone Setup] d [Mic Volume]
using cursor and press ENTER.
Use / to adjust the microphone volume.
Press RETURN to finish.
 Adjust microphone echo
Select [Microphone Setup] d [Mic Echo] using
cursor and press ENTER.
Use cursor / to adjust the microphone echo.
Press RETURN to finish.
Microphone echo can also be adjusted using
KEY/ECHO and / on the remote control.
Press KEY/ECHO to display [Mic Echo] and then
adjust using / .
 Adjust Key Control
Use / / / to select [Key Control] d [Next],
and then press ENTER.
Use / to adjust Key Control volume, and
then press RETURN.
Key Control can also be adjusted using KEY/
ECHO and / on the remote control.
Press KEY/ECHO to display [Key Control] and
then adjust using / .
 Switch Vocal Cancel on or off
Use cursor to select [Vocal Cancel] d [On] or
[Off] and press ENTER.
 Turn the Karaoke score function on/off
Use / / / to select [Karaoke Score] d [On]
or [Off], and then press ENTER.
When the Karaoke score function is turned on,
a score will be displayed after each track ends.
Note
• Karaoke can only be used with disc playback or
USB playback.
• Depending on the song, Vocal Cancel may not be
effective.
• When inserting the MIC terminal, support the
top of the unit with your hand to prevent it from
moving.
• The microphone volume can also be adjusted using
the MIC VOL +/– button on the remote control.
• If you turn on Vocal Cancel, Virtual 3D Sound
settings and Surround settings are turned off. If
you turn on Virtual 3D Sound settings or Surround
settings when Vocal Cancel is on, Vocal Cancel is
turned off.
• Turn the Karaoke Switch Off and Vocal Cancel and
Karaoke Score will be turned off, and Key Control
will be set to a value of 0.
• The sound may be distorted if the microphone
volume is too high.
• If there is howling, move the microphone away
from the speakers. Also try lowering the volume
and echo level.
