Recording the Driving

Information

You can store a journey you actually travelled
(known as the “Driving Log History”) on the PC
card. Then you can use a PC to check when you
made that journey, and where it was from and to.
You can also record whether the driving history
was “Private” or “Business”.
The following information is stored as the driving
history:

• File name
e.g.)

• Contents

(1) The purpose of the journey (Private or

Business)

(2) Information of starting point (longitude and

latitude)

(3) Information of end point (longitude and

latitude)

(4) Travelling distance from the starting point to

the end point

PC card data is stored as a text format file.
Each file is stored in the LT folder of the PC
card.

Here, a method of recording driving information
is described with an example of recording the
driving history as data for business.

1

Insert a PC card into the PC card slot.

2

Touch “Settings” in the Main menu, then
touch “Driving Log History”.
After the purchase, the Navigation System is
set not to record the tracking. “Off” is
displayed below “Driving Log History”,
showing that this function is turned currently
Off.

3

Touch the “Driving Log History” and
select “Business”.

Each touch of the “Driving Log History
changes the settings as follows:
Private:
Driving history is recorded as private data.
Business:
Driving history is recorded as business data.
Off:
Driving history is not recorded.

4

Press the NAVI (or POS) button to return
to the map of your surroundings.
Once you start the vehicle, recording of the
driving history starts.

Information from the starting point to the end
point is registered as one file. The location
where the driving record is turned On/Off
becomes the starting/end point. If the setting
is left On, the location where the engine was
started becomes the starting point of the
drive, and the location where the power is
turned off becomes the end point. (If the
information for the end point cannot be stored
properly, an error may occur for a few minutes
of driving information data.)
