SPECIAL FEATURES AND THE ADVANCED
SAFETY TECHNOLOGY (AST)
This unit is equipped with a Safety Auto Off, plus a safety Thermal Fuse and CAUTION Light.
If the unit experiences excessive heat, the Safety Auto Off will shut the unit off, and the CAU
TION light will go on. If this happens, turn the Dial to Off immediately. Be sure the front and
back grilles are not blocked and nothing is restricting airflow. If the CAUTION Light stays on,
unplug the unit, let it cool down, and wait 10 minutes before plugging it back in to operate.
Readjust your temperature or room settings. If the unit fails to operate after 10 minutes, it may
mean the heater has internal damage and that the Thermal Fuse has been tripped so the
heater can no longer operate. The Motion Off Detection Feature will cut the power if the unit
falls over in any direction or is lifed (such as if you move it to another part of the room). The
Tip Over Switch will cut the power if the unit is knocked over forward or backward (for exam
ple, if a pet accidentally tips it over). Both are controlled by the Tip Over Switch on the bottom
of the unit. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature. The power indicator shows that the
heater is switched on and operating. It continues to glow even if the thermostat has cycled and
the heating elements are off. Note that even though this unit has a Cool Touch Housing, both
the front and back grilles will get hot. Be careful not to touch them.
FROST WATCH FEATURE
Frost Watch: When the heater is plugged in and the Power Indicator is on, you can leave the
Thermostat Control on the FROST WATCH or lowest setting. Your unit will remain Off unless the
temperature drops below (40°F/4°C). If this happens, Frost Watch will automatically cycle the
heater/ fan On.
CARE AND CLEANING
Always turn the unit Off, unplug disconnect the cord from the outlet, and allow the heater to
cool completely before cleaning.
To clean the exterior, use a soft dry cloth or one moistened with a mild detergent to wipe the
outside surfaces. Do not use abrasive or harsh cleaners. Dry surfaces thoroughly before using
the heater. Or, use a vacuum with a dusting brush attachment to clean away dust.
CAUTION: DO NOT immerse the heater in water or allow water to drip into the interior of the
heater, as this could create an electric shock hazard.
Store the heater in a dry area. Gather the power cord in loops and secure it with a twist tie.
Don't let the power cord come in contact with sharp edges or get compressed by heavy
objects. Portable electric heaters are designed for space heating as a supplementary heat
source. They are not intended be the main source of heat.

3. Режимы нагрева. Установите переключатель режимов нагрева (7) в положение
HIGH (максимальный режим нагрева). После того, как в помещении установится
комфортная температура, Вы можете переключить прибор в режим LOW, чтобы в
комнате не было слишком жарко. Также Вы можете установить режим работы
вентилятора FAN ONLY для проветривания помещения.
4. Установка термостата. Выберите желаемый по мощности режим нагрева (LOW или
HIGH) или режим работы вентилятора (FAN ONLY), затем поверните регулятор
термостата (3) до максимума в положение HOT. После того, как в комнате установится
комфортная температура, поворачивайте регулятор термостата (3) против часовой
стрелки до тех пор, пока обогреватель не выключится. При понижении температуры
Ваш обогреватель будет автоматически поддерживать комфортную температуру.
Примечание: при установке режима работы вентилятора (FAN ONLY) регулятор
термостата (3) должен быть установлен в положении HOT.
5. Функция антифриза поверните регулятор термостата (3) в положение FROST
WATCH. При этом прибор будет автоматически поддерживать в помещении
температуру не ниже 4°С, таким образом предотвращая замерзание при минимальном
использовании электроэнергии.
ПОМНИТЕ! Обогреватель разработан как дополнительный источник тепла и не
предназначен для использования как основное средство обогрева помещения
ИНДИКАТОР ВКЛЮЧЕНИЯ НАГРЕВАТЕЛЬНЫХ ЭЛЕМЕНТОВ
Обогреватель имеет индикатор (2), который включается при включении режима
нагрева прибора или в режиме вентиляции. Он выключается при повороте регулятора
термостата против часовой стрелки. Это необходимо, чтобы Вы знали, когда
нагреватель работает и поддерживает температуру в комнате. Когда нет
необходимости в работе обогревателя, поверните переключатель режимов нагрева (7)
в положение "OFF", и отключите прибор от сети.
Пожалуйста, обратите внимание:
Во избежание повреждения и перегрева, нагреватель оснащен защитным механизмом,
который отключает прибор в случае перегревания. Также в случае перегревания
загорается индикатор перегрева (1).
