Another input area appears.
4 Press the number buttons to enter a new code,
then press ENTER.
5 Enter the same code again, then press ENTER.
The new security code is set.
Note
• If you have forgotten your security code, enter 99999 at
step 2 and set a new security code.
To set the parental level
1 Press / / / to select “Parental control”
and then press ENTER.
The password setting display appears.
2 Press the number buttons to enter the 5-digit
security code you have set, then press ENTER.
Now the parental lock level can be changed.
3 Press ENTER while selecting “Parental control”.
4 Press / to select the parental level to set and
then press ENTER.

5 : PG-R 4 : PG-13 3 : PG
2 : G 1 : Kid Safe
To change the parental lock level
Follow the step “To set the parental level” to change
the parental level.
PBC DVD-V VCD CD
On:
To use the menu when playing a PBC-featured VIDEO
CD.
Off:
When playing a VIDEO CD without using the menu.
Screen saver DVD-V VCD CD
On:
The screen saver operates.
Off:
The screen saver is disengaged.
