Connecting a LAN cable

To connect a LAN cable to the port replicator, follow the steps below:
1. Plug one end of the network cable into the port replicator’s network port.

Gently push the cable connector in until you hear the latch click into

place.

2. Plug the other end of the cable into a LAN hub connector.

Docking your computer

The system supports hot docking and undocking.
1. Align the slots on the front of the computer with the front hooks on the

port replicator. Seat the computer so that the hooks engage the slots.

2. Press the computer down until it clicks into place. The computer

connector on the port replicator engages the computer’s expansion

port.
When the computer is connected, the Docked light glows green.

The computer may need to be configured before connecting to a LAN.

Check with your LAN administrator regarding set up procedures.
