Print directly from SAP

Sharp has teamed up with SAP to develop a full range of
free printer device types that bring a whole new level of
functionality to the front office. It means that everyone can
enjoy the convenience of printing directly from any SAP
application, with full support for collation, tray selection,
duplex printing, barcode printing and advanced finishing
options such as stapling, hole punching and automatic
booklet creation.

In addition, we offer increased flexibility through a choice
of printing methods including the Windows driver, PCL5/
PS3 and unique device types.

Fast, flexible printing with UNIX and Linux

Now you can harness the power of Sharp’s multi
award-winning MFPs with advanced finishing options,
direct from the CUPS (Common UNIX Printing System)
interface. Simply install the correct PPD (PostScript Printer
Description) - available free of charge for any Sharp MFP
with a PostScript option - and print locally or remotely
to any networked Sharp printer, with or without
finishing options.

PPD drivers are also available for integration with various
Linux environments including Ubuntu, Red Hat and SUSE.

Seamless integration with Novell NetWare

Printing within a Novell environment is easy with Sharp
MFPs. We support rapid integration with NetWare and
Open Enterprise Server and have full compatibility
with iPrint.

What’s more, you can print securely to your office printer
over the Internet from anywhere in the world simply by
