Selecting a monitor

Depending on the version, the TravelPilot DX-V is supplied with a detachable 16:9
(wide screen) monitor or a retractable 16:9 (wide vision) monitor with an integrated TV
tuner. If you want to use the TravelPilot DX-V to view a TV/video source, you must
first activate the “External video source” option.

Select the appropriate monitor version and press the

OK

button.

The selected monitor is indicated by a filled circle.

Note
The following operating instructions on “Selecting an external video
source”, “Switching to the video source” and “Selecting the display for-
mat” only apply to the 16:9 wide screen monitor.

Selecting an external video source

You have the option of connecting a video player or a DVD player using an adapter to
the RGB input of the TravelPilot DX-V. You can find out which adapters are available
for this from your authorised Blaupunkt dealer or from the Blaupunkt telephone hot-
line.

If you want to connect an external video source, select the “External video
source” menu item and press the

OK

button.

The external video source is activated if it appears with a tick mark alongside
it.

Switching to the video source

You can switch to the external video signal on the 16:9 wide screen monitor. The
external video signal can only be watched whilst the vehicle is stationary or is not
moving any faster than 4 mph.

Press the SRC button

on the monitor to switch between navigation mode

and the external video source.
