TeraStation Expansion
TeraStation has four USB 2.0 ports, two on the front panel and two on the rear. These ports can be
used for adding external USB Hard Drives or a USB Printer. TeraStation will then share the USB
devices, allowing everyone on the network to use them. Up to four external USB hard drives, or
one printer and three hard drives, may be added to TeraStation. To connect a USB printer or hard
drive to TeraStation, simply plug it into one of the four USB Ports.
USB Hard Drive Information:
You may plug in additional USB hard drives to any of the four USB ports on your TeraStation. See
page  for setting up your USB hard drive under TeraStation. See page 8.for.information.on.
setting up shared folders on a USB Hard Drive. Page 7 will show you how to reformat the USB
Hard Drive. Page 51 shows you how to set up TeraStation to backup to a USB Hard Drive.
