The MUM 4750 UC has a 450Ćwatt motor.
The MUM 4750 UC power units has the following feaĆ

tures:
SixĆposition rotary switch is located at the side of the

multifunction arm of the power unit:

4 speeds plus a momentary pulse position M" and

a stop position O/Off", see figure 2a.
- A highĆspeed drive used for blender and other atĆ

tachments requiring highĆshaft speed

- A midĆspeed drive used for continuous shredder

attachment and other attachments requiring midĆ

range shaft speeds

and
- A high torque drive used for whisks, dough hook

and meat grinder attachment and other attachĆ

ments requiring more torque.

Each of these drives is controlled by the 4Ćspeed elecĆ

tronic control providing 12 distinct shaft speeds optiĆ

mizing the motor speed for different loads encounĆ

tered by different attachments.
Four locking positions place attachments in the most

ergonomic position for their use, see figure 2b.
"M" is a momentary pulse function that provides full

speed and power for the time it is held in this position.
The power unit has indicator lights which indicate

standby (a) and switching positions (b) while the drive

is running.
The standby indicator lights up red when the unit is

supplied with power. If the rotary switch is rotated to

one of the speed settings, the corresponding indicator

light illuminates.

The indicator lights flash following a power interruption

or if the unit is overloaded. See TROUBLESHOOTING

at the back of this manual.

Two covers are provided to cover highĆspeed and

midĆspeed drive when they are not in use.
