Do not allow

nize hazards. The power base
and par ts of the

ation! Lift the
jug only by the
handle; do not
touch hot sur-
faces! Under no cir-
cumstances
should you
operate units in
which par ts are
defective or
missing. Do not place
the unit or
par ts near a
stove or oven or
in a microwave
oven. To protect
against fire, el-
ectric shock or
injuries, never
immerse the
cable, plug or
power base in
liquids or allow
them to come
into contact
with liquids. Never open the
power base or
the bottom of
the jug! Have
repairs per-
formed only
by authorized
exper ts. Do not crush
the cable or
lead it around
corners or
sharp edges!
Store excess
cable in the
base of the
unit. Operate the unit
with BODUM
®
original par ts
only. BODUM
®
decline any lia-
bility or guaran-
tee if the unit is
fitted with any
other par ts.
