INSTALLATION NOTES:

• Inspect the contents of the kit and read the entire instructions before proceeding.

• We recommend this installation be performed by a qualified technician.

• Torque all hardware to factory specifications.

• We recommend using red Loctite on all bolts.

• When removing wheels, support vehicle with jack stands.

1) Apply assembly lube and use vise or press to assemble poly flex joint internal components
into six end joints as shown (see photo 1).

2) Install jam nut onto each end. Install threaded ends into bars leaving no more than 1” of
exposed threads (see photo 2).

3) Apply assembly lube, install boot, and insert slider rod into traction bar ends leaving 2” of
exposed slider (see photo 3).

4) Position axle brackets between u-bolts as shown and mark location. Clean axle surface for
welding (see photo 4).

5) Tack weld axle brackets in position and fully weld on inside only (see photo 5).

6) After welds have cooled, set traction bar temporarily in place using both axle bolts (see photo 6).

7) With weight on the vehicle, using a 9/16” bolt for locating, place frame bracket on slider
and adjust threaded axle pivots until the frame bracket rests on frame (see photo 7).

8) Mark and drill the 3/8” & 9/16” holes, bolt frame brackets in place (photo 8 & 9).

9) Install side trim plates. Tighten all hardware to specifications. Lube all greasable bolts and
the 2 fittings for each slider. Note: the slider grease fittings only require a small amount of
grease. Example: 4-5 pumps from a manual grease gun.
