Exterior Cleaning
Note: The powder coat finish used in the manufacture of your Cyclone Drying Systems product is one of the most durable color coatings available.
However, to obtain the very best results in overall finish longevity, correct product handling and care is essential.
Regular dusting and cleaning will extend the life of the surface and help retain its appearance. Cleaning should be conducted routinely in three to six
month intervals.
Disconnect unit from power source. Clean with a diluted solution of mild liquid detergent and warm water. While cleaning be careful not the get
excessive amounts of liquid inside the unit.
Use a soft bristle brush. Do not use abrasive tools on coating. After cleaning, wipe off thoroughly with a clean damp towel to remove any detergent
residue.
Do not use strong solvent type cleaners. Where the use of solvent is required in the event of a paint spill, use nothing other than Methylated Spirits.
Ensure that the contact time is short as possible, and wipe away the solvent cleaner thoroughly from the surface with a towel rinsed in fresh water.
Do not use Acetates, Dulon Thinners, Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) or petrol products. Highly acidic cleaners are not recommended either.
Interior Cleaning
Disconnect unit from power source. Periodically view fan motor(s) through the intake slots in the front and/or back of the dryer. If the fan motor(s)
intake has an accumulation of dust, use compressed air to blow the dust away from the intake.
If the working environment of the dryer is dusty and you are cleaning the intake(s) more than twice a year, it is recommended that you remove the
back panel of the unit and vacuum out the dust from the dryer cabinet.
Under normal operations, removal of the back panel of the dryer and vacuuming out dust from inside the cabinet should occur every two years.
