1. Remove the igniter.

2. Remove the four 3/8 in. nuts and the ground wire

from the studs. Remove the burner. See Fig. 22.

3. Securely hold the manifold in place at the opposite

side of the center partition panel while removing the

orifice. See Fig. 23.

4. When reinstalling the burner, ensure larger opening

between burner vanes is directed to the access door.

TRANSFORMER

The transformer (See Fig.25) reduces the main power

supply voltage (115 VAC) to 24 VAC. The 24 VAC is sent

through the thermostat (if used) or directly to the

ignition controller. Once the igntion controller receives

24 VAC, an ignition cycle begins. The red LED will come

on.

If the transformer is receiving 115 VAC, but 24 VAC is

absent from its output terminals, the transformer is

defective. The heater will not operate, nor will the red

LED on the burner box door be on.
