Thank you for purchasing a Poison Spyder Front
RockBrawler Bumper for your Jeep JK. You
now own the ultimate off-road bumper, which
will give you many years of service. Installation
is fairly simple with the right tools and good
mechanical abilities. If you are not confident in
your mechanical skills, please seek the help of a
professional to perform the installation. Please
read through these entire instructions before
proceeding with installation.
PARTS LIST
Please check your packages immediately upon
arrival to ensure that everything listed is included,
and to check for damage during shipping. If
anything is missing or damaged, call Poison
Spyder at (951) 849-5911 as soon as possible.
(1) JK Front RockBrawler Bumper (A)
(1) Sub-Frame Bracket Retainer Plate (B)
(1) Sub-Frame Bracket (C)
(1) Removable Skid Plate (D)
(12) 3/8-16 X 1 SS flat head cap screw
(5) 3/8-16 nylon insert lock nut
(5) 3/8 flat washer
(11) 1/2-13 nylon insert lock nut
(11) 1/2 flat washer
TOOLS NEEDED
• Ratchet
• 6” socket extension
• 19mm deep socket
• 3/4” deep socket
• Torque wrench (ft./lbs.)
• 7/32” hex key
• Transfer punches: 5/16” & 15/32”
• Shop Hammer
• Dead blow hammer or rubber mallet
• Drill motor
• Drill bits: 1/4”, 3/8” & 11/16”
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Small flat head screwdriver
• Removal tool for
push-in retainer
clips (see Figure
1) or small pry bar
• Abrasive cut-off
wheel or other
suitable metal
cutting tool
• Touch-up paint or clear coat
BEFORE YOU BEGIN
The JK Front RockBrawler bumper and
associated components are shipped un-painted.
You will want to paint or powder-coat these
components prior to installation. If painting them
