DEFENDER™ SPYDER SIDE INSERTS

Thank you for purchasing Poison Spyder

products for your Jeep. Installation is fairly simple

with the right tools and good mechanical abilities.

If you are not confident in your mechanical skills,

please seek the help of a professional to perform

the installation. Please read through these entire

instructions before proceeding with installation.
IMPORTANT: Completely install and remove

these items prior to painting or powder coating.

This will allow you to check for fitment or do any

clearancing or fitting ahead of time, to reduce

the chance of damage to the finish during final

installation. Poison Spyder Customs Inc. is not

responsible for costs for or damage to paint or

powder coat finish under any circumstances,

including paint or powder coat of incorrectly

shipped or defective parts.

Please check your packages immediately upon

INSTALLATION NOTES

Fully install DeFenders™ on to the Jeep

before installing the Spyder Side Inserts.

Spyder Side Inserts may be installed WITH

the solid inserts that come with the DeFenders,

or by themselves.

If installing WITH the solid inserts, sandwich

the Spyder Side Insert between the DeFender™

and the solid insert. The solid insert may be

painted a contrasting color for a nice accent.

Spyder Side Inserts may be installed by

themselves to allow for improved airflow

through the engine bay. In this case they may

be installed against either the outside or inside

surface of the DeFender™. In either case, you

will need to source (14) 5/16-18 nylon insert

lock nuts from your local hardware store, and

re-use the button head cap screws that came

with the DeFenders.
