INSTALLATION INSTRUC

TIO

NS

Thank you for purchasing a Poison Spyder Tramp

Stamp for your Jeep YJ, TJ or LJ. The Tramp

Stamp installs over the body sheet metal below

the tailgate, finishing off your Poison Spyder

body armor in style. Installation is fairly simple

with the right tools and good mechanical abilities.

If you are not confident in your mechanical skills,

please seek the help of a professional to perform

the installation. Please read through these entire

instructions before proceeding with installation.

PARTS LIST
Please check your packages immediately upon

arrival to ensure that everything listed is included,

and to check for damage during shipping. If

anything is missing or damaged, call Poison

Spyder at (951) 849-5911 as soon as possible.

(1) Tramp Stamp
(8) 3/16” Truss head pop rivet, black

TOOLS NEEDED

• 3/16” transfer punch or fine-tip marker
• 13/64” drill bit and drill motor
• Pop rivet install tool
• Touch-up paint or clear coat

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Park vehicle on a
level surface and set the

emergency brake. Remove any stickers,

brackets, license plate holder or any other

obstruction from the area below the tailgate

where the Tramp Stamp will be installed.

Clean the area, straighten any bends or

creases in the sheet metal, and sand/

primer/paint any bare metal to prevent rust

underneath the Tramp Stamp.

2. Prep the Tramp Stamp for installation by

painting, powder coating, polishing it or

leaving it bare. The Tramp Stamp is made

of aluminum plate, so it won’t rust but it

will oxidize slightly over time if left bare or

polished. If you paint it, thoroughly clean and

lightly scuff with a sander prior to applying an

initial coat of primer, followed by your paint

color of choice.

3. Hold the Tramp Stamp in place over the

rectangular sheet metal section below the

tailgate. There is some room for adjustment,

so make sure the gaps at either side and

along the top are all even while holding the

Tramp Stamp in place.

4. Use the transfer punch or fine-tip marker

to mark the 8 hole locations using the Tramp

Stamp itself as the template, then set the

Tramp Stamp aside.

5. Drill each of the marked hole locations

with a 13/64” bit. Be careful not to let the

bit “catch” and deform the sheet metal as it

breaks through.

6. Clear any burrs from the holes, then use

some touch-up paint or clear coat to protect

the bare metal around the edges of the holes

from future rust.

7. Place the Tramp Stamp back into position

and use your pop rivet tool to install the

supplied rivets through the 8 holes. Make

sure the Tramp Stamp is level and centered,

and begin by installing rivets on two opposite

corners to securely hold the Tramp Stamp

while you install the remaining rivets.

Congratulations, you have completed the

installation of your Poison Spyder Tramp Stamp!
