CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS – BRASS CASES

Before you start cleaning cases, make sure all spent primers have been removed with a full-length die, neck die or
decapping die. This will greatly enhance the cleaning of primer pockets.

Check to make sure the power cord is NOT plugged in. Place cases in basket and lower into tank. Add enough water so
the cases are completely submerged. Mix solution according to instructions on bottle. Cases must NOT come into
contact with the tank!

Plug in power cord and set timer by pressing the “+” or “-“ button until the desired cycle time appears. Press the ON/OFF
button to start your desired cleaning cycle. The unit will generate a buzzing sound during operation.

Press the ON/OFF button to stop or pause a cycle. Press the ON/OFF button to restart current cycle.

Check cases periodically to determine appropriate cleaning time. Stirring or re-positioning parts in solution every 5-8
minutes will also enhance cleaning performance. Most cases will be clean after 15-25 minutes.

Unplug power cord and drain cleaning solution into tank by lifting and tilting basket with the cleaned cases. Rinse
cleaning solution from the cases. De-ionized water will minimize water spots on the cases while they’re drying. When
you have finished cleaning cases, unplug unit and pour used solution out over one of the back corners of the tank. This
will minimize the possibility of water making contact with the internal components. Do not pour cleaning solution out over
the front of the unit.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS – OTHER ITEMS

The above steps can be used to clean other items such as small gun components, metallic shooting and reloading
equipment as well as other waterproof household items. If you wish to clean sensitive or valuable items, use distilled
water in the tank without any type of detergent or cleaning solution and heating function off. Read and follow instructions
on cleaning solution bottles. Do not use the Hornady One-Shot

TM

Sonic Clean Brass Solution to clean non-brass items,

as it may harm some finishes. Thoroughly rinse the inside of the Hornady Lock-N-Load

when switching cleaning solutions. Oversized items that do not fit in the tank can be cleaned by partially submerging one
end and then rotating and repeating the cleaning cycles.

HEATING FUNCTION

WARNING

– Always use caution when handling heated solution and parts.

– Use caution when heating delicate items to prevent damage.

– Exercise caution when using heating function on brass cases.

– Even with the heating function turned off, the ultrasonic energy will cause the solution temperature to increase.

Set the heating function thermostat by pressing the “+” or “-“ button until the desired temperature appears. Press the
ON/OFF button to turn the heating function on.

A solid temperature display indicates the actual solution temperature, while a flashing temperature display indicates the
target solution temperature. You can check the target temperature during operation by pressing the “+” or “-“ button.
