PATRIOT FRONT BUMPER INSTALLATION
R-SE Patriot Bolt Placement
Use a 1/2’’ wench/socket to secure 2 5/16’’ bolts, 4 5/16’’ washers, 2 5/16’’ nuts
Use a 9/16’’ wrench/socket to secure 4 3/8’’bolts, 8 3/8’’ washers, 4 large washers, 4 3/8’’ nuts
1. Remove factory bumper.
a. Use a 15mm socket wrench to remove 6 bolts attaching the stock skid plate
b. Use a 21mm socket wrench to remove the 4 nuts holding the bumper to the frame
c. Use a 5/16’’ wrench to remove the 2 bolts holding the hood release mechanism and put
it to the side for now. *KEEP THESE BOLTS – THEY WILL BE REUSED* (shown below)
2. Install Anzo lights using manufacturers hardware/brackets before mounting the R-SE Patriot.
3. Mount the R-SE Patriot into its proposed position making sure its level and even on both sides.
4. Using 9/16’’ wrench/socket secure the R-SE Patriot onto the Raptor frame.
a. 4 3/8’’bolts, 8 3/8’’ washers, 4 large washers, 4 3/8’’ nuts
b. You will be using 1 bolt, 2 washers, 1 large washer, and 1 nut per mount
i. Sequence= bolt - washer - washer - bumper - large washer - nut
c. Tighten to snug, but not fully tight at this time
5. Restore the hood release mount into its original position.
6. Using 1/2’’ wrench/socket secure the R-SE Patriot to the hood release mount
a. 2 5/16’’ bolts, 4 5/16’’, 2 5/16’’ nuts
b. You will be using 1 bolt, 2 washers, 1 nut per mount
i. Sequence= bolt - washer - bumper - washer - nut
7. Using a 5/16’’ wrench reinstall the 2 factory bolts into hood release mount
8. Fully secure R-SE Patriot front bumper by putting final tightening on bolts
