More Settings, Extra Features,
and Accessories

iPod nano can do a lot more than play songs. And you can do
a lot more with it than listen to music.

Read this chapter to find out more about the extra features of iPod nano, including
how to use it as a pedometer; record voice memos; use it as an external disk, alarm, or
sleep timer; play games; show the time of day in other parts of the world; display notes;
and sync contacts, calendars, and to-do lists. Learn about how to use iPod nano as a
stopwatch and to lock the screen, and about the accessories available for iPod nano.
