Using Manual Controls
and the On-Screen Display

Controls on the front underside of the display allow you to use the On-Screen Display (OSD)
to adjust the screen image, choose the video source, set the brightness of the backlight, and
reset the display. In most cases, you won’t need to make any adjustments to your picture. But
if you do, follow the instructions in this chapter.

You can use the On-Screen Display if the display is connected to a Windows-based computer
or if you are using the display in video mode.

If the display is connected to a Mac OS–based computer and you are using the display in
computer mode, you use the Monitors & Sound control panel to adjust the screen image.

Using Manual Controls on Your Display

You use the buttons on the underside of the front of your display to choose settings and
control the On-Screen Display (OSD).
