SOME DRILLING REQUIRED for installation of these Side Bars. To obtain correct installation, we

Step One: Locate hardware kit. Check contents with the hardware listed below.

Step Two: Remove the four body mount bolts.
Step Three: Attach the front and rear mounting brackets to the body mounts with the 12mm bolts, 12mm
flatwashers, and 12mm lockwashers as shown in the drawing and hand tighten.
Step Four: Place the side bars into position. (NOTE: To determine which side bar is the left or right, check the
number on the welded insert at the end of the tube.)
Step Five: Attach the side bars to the mounting brackets with the 12mm hardware and 3” plastic rings provided.
Step Six: Remove the 12mm x 50mm bolts holding the end of the side bar to the rear mounting bracket. Put the
short end of the support bracket up to the backside of the rear mounting bracket and attach it with the 12mm
hardware previously removed.. Orient the bracket so that the long end touches the bottom of the frame. Using the
hole in the long end of the bracket as a guide, drill a 7/16” hole in the bottom of the frame and attach it with the
10mm hardware provided.
Step Seven: After checking to make sure the side bars are level and square with the side of the vehicle
completely tighten all hardware.
Step Eight: Periodically check and retighten the hardware as necessary.
