Vaulted Security Glove Box
97-06 Wranglers (Part # 812201)
NOTE: Carefully read entire instructions thoroughly before
attempting to install this part. Drilling is required. (Optional)

Vaulted Glove Box 1 Phillips Screwdriver
Neoprene Strip 1 Drill
Door Drop Stop Bracket 1 Drill Bit Set
Wing Nut 2
Nylon Locking Nut 4
Nylon Locking Nut 4
Washer 4
Step 1: Carefully remove the factory glove box from vehicle by gently pulling forward on the plastic
tab on the right side until the tab clears the dash and the box rotates out all the way or by
releasing the holding strap. (Fig 1)
Step 2: Remove the eight Phillips screws that attach the dash to the steel framework. Now remove the
factory lock catch at the top of the glove box opening by removing the two screws. (Save all screws
use later)
Note : Remember the factory screw mounting pattern, you will use the same pattern later.
