Step 1:
Position the Defender Rack on your OEM rack. Make sure its evenly spaced
side to side and front to back.
Step 2:
Slide the ¼” x 1 ¾” U-Bolts around and up through the Rack strut plates and secure
with the included ¼” hardware. (Fig A)
Step 3:
Place the included plates under the factory or aftermarket racks cross bars and
slide the ¼” x 2 ¾” U-Bolts over the racks bars and down through the plates
and secure with the included ¼” hardware. (Fig B)
Note:
Defender Roof Racks are rated for loads of no more than 150lbs. evenly distributed.
When carrying a spare tire, the tire should not exceed 33” diameter
