INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
BULL BAR PART # 6550

(4) 12MM X 40MM HEX BOLTS
(4) 12MM FLAT WASHERS
(2) FRAME MOUNTING BRACKETS
(6) 12MM X 35 HEX BOLTS
(6) 12MM LOCK NUTS
(12) 12MM FLAT WASHERS
(8) 12MM SPACER FLAT WASHERS
INSTALLING BULL BAR
1. Remove the plastic push pins securing the plastic skid shield located underneath the vehicle in
order to install frame brackets.
2. Start with the passenger side assembly. Locate the factory bolts that attach the cross bar from
the frame to the lower radiator support. There are two bolts per side, remove bolts and slide
bracket, along with 2 spacers per bolt, between the factory cross bar and the radiator support
followed by new 12MM x 40MM bolts. (Note you may need to loosen the one bolt from the cross
bar to allow the factory brace to drop down for the brackets to slip in. Keep all bolts loose as to
align bar. Refer to Diagram #1 below.
3. Attach Bull bar assembly to the lower brackets (outer edge) using the 12MM x 35 Hex Bolts,
12MM lock nuts, and 12MM washers.
4. Align Bull bar assembly with front of the vehicle and secure all fasteners.
5. When re-installing the plastic skid shield, use a utility knife and carefully cut out the section
where the lower mount brackets interfere with the mount brackets. This is the oblong shape area
just covering the bolts of the brackets, and will allow the plastic skid shield to fit frame brackets
through it. Attach the plastic skid shield over the frame brackets
