NV3550 SHIFTER BRACKET

This bracket requires the use of your stock transfer case shifter handle, the linkage rod to your transfer case, and
the shifter gate. All 1987-95 Jeep linkages used a gated shifter that pivoted off of a support bolt. The only difference
we've seen is the bracket that bolts to the different stock transmission. Therefore, to fit the transfer case linkage
on the new transmission, you need to remove the handle from your stock bracket and reinstalled it onto our new
715545 bracket. You will also need to grind off the two rivets that retain the gate on your stock bracket. We have
provided two new bolts to install the gate back onto our new shifter bracket.

NOTE:

Some of the Jeep Cherokees used a bellcrank linkage system in which the 715545 bracket should not be used.

The stock bellcrank linkage will need to be modified to fit on these vehicles.
