8.11 CD-ROM / CD-RW / DVD-RW
The CD-ROM drive (optionally a CD-RW drive or DVD-RW drive) is installed on the side of the
control system next to the diskette drive. The device has to be switched on to open the
drive. The motor driven tray will open upon pressing the Eject button. The tray closes when
pushed in slightly or when the Eject button is pressed again.
If a RW drive is installed, then CDs/DVDs can only be burned if burning software is
installed. The information provided by the software manufacturer should be observed for
installation and use.
Warning:
The drive can be damaged if the motor driven tray encounters an obstacle while in
motion!
CDs should be placed in the recessed area intended for this purpose. Otherwise
the CD could fall out and be destroyed when the tray closes!

The 3.5" floppy disk drive is installed on the side of the control system.
