Weight and Mounting Hardware – The battery charger with its input and output cables weighs
approximately 3.5 pounds. The size of the mounting hardware is not particularly critical. A 10/24 coarse
thread machine screw or bolt and a nut with a lock washer and washers on both sides (i.e. on the front / top
of the charger flange and on the back / bottom of the mounting surface) should be sufficient to securely
fasten the charger in place. The length of the screw or bolt depends on the thickness of the mounting
surface.
Caution – It is possible that part of the charger outer case may reach as high as 70° C (158° F) during
normal operation, delivering full power. More than likely the maximum case temperature will be only about
50° C (122° F). However, it is important that the charger is located in an area with adequate ventilation and
that it is mounted on a surface that is not flammable.
