NOTICE: Length of pull and shooting technique are more important with the CompStock than with
conventional stocks. Due to the inherent “travel” of the shotgun during recoil, there is potential
for painful contact between the shooter’s strong shooting hand and the face. When the shotgun
is fully mounted on your shoulder in a shooting position you need at least 2” of distance between
the face and the hand.

“CHEEK SLAP” - Due to the significant reduction in recoil inherent in the design of this stock, you
may notice "cheek slap" that was previously masked by recoil. To avoid discomfort, move your
head further back on the stock. Adding length to the stock by ordering a thicker butt pad from
BLACKHAWK! Products Group™ is an effective way to eliminate discomfort.

RIGHT: Must maintain at least 2" space between hand and face.

WRONG: If there is no space between hand and face, shooter
will experience contact during recoil.
